made of brickearth
Villages made out of brickearth and Kasbahs are lined up in the Draa-valley like pearls of a necklace. They are embedded in the lucid green of the palm tree plantations and tell the story of the old route for commerce along the once longest river.
In the old township of Tizergate the ancient times of gold caravans and impenetrable harem walls seems to be still alive. Behind the main wooden entrance door you can find meandering little streets, the bastion towers and the buildings that are spread like honeycombs along the streets. A museum does offer deep insights into the nature and culture of the region.
